In short

An endorsement is an approved change to an existing CIB&RC certificate or permit, such as a new factory or office address, a company name change or a transfer after a merger. Product-level changes such as new label claims, pack sizes or longer shelf life need approval supported by data.

Which business changes need endorsement?

  • Change of factory address
  • Change of registered office address
  • Change of company name
  • Transfer of certificates after a merger, acquisition or business transfer

How are label claims expanded?

Adding a crop or pest requires efficacy data for the new claim. We plan the data, file the application and update label and leaflet.

What about packaging and shelf life?

New pack sizes, materials or a longer shelf life need approval supported by compatibility or storage-stability data.

Which documents are needed?

  • Existing certificates or permits
  • Legal documents for the change (name change, merger order, lease)
  • Updated licences
  • Efficacy, packaging or stability data as applicable

The exact list depends on your product and business; we confirm it before filing.
